Frederik De Pesseroey has 13 years of experience in the waste and recycling department of the city of Antwerp, Belgium. He approaches the topic from various angles, like policy, management and staffing. Between the several engineers and other technicians in the field, he stays alert for customer’s perspectives and the behavioural aspect of waste management. He's got a Master's degree in political and social sciences, hence his interest in this behavioural angle: raise awareness to achieve a clean city, measure the impact of different waste collection systems, survey on user experiences, develop methods to enhance the recycling rates, and so on.
