Biography
Paul completed a PhD in Manufacturing Engineering after an MSc in Advanced Manufacturing Systems and Technology from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom (UK). His first degree was in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering. He currently holds a Chair in Multi-scale & Sustainable Manufacturing and is Director of Research in the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering at The University of Manchester in the UK as well as Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a member of the International Academy of Production Engineering (CIRP). He has published more than 120 peer reviewed scientific papers.
